TV Commercial 2.0
Our San Francisco friends at Rofo.com, a new site for finding commercial lease properties, have produced their own commercial (h/t Agent Genius for pointing to it). We're advocates of the humorous self-produced YouTube offering; it's Advertising 2.0. Madison Avenue creativity is easy to replicate when you have a few funny founders, and Mad Avenue budgets aren't required when producing a commercial for a target audience. We're doing the same with our consulting clients because the production process has become accessible with a new breed of local video producers.
A plug for Rofo.com - finding commercial leases has always been an opaque process that I've documented on Transparent. (It was this article that got Rofo's founders to coffee with me last summer). It seems every lease broker has their own portfolio of properties to show, and it's hard to figure out the complete inventory. Rofo.com is a first step towards aggregating these listings for the San Francisco Bay Area.
Pretty hilarious!! Kind of reminded me of an old black and white comedy movie. Definitely one that people will remember
