Real Estate 2.0 Companies' Trend to Package Web 2.0 Services for their Clients

At HomeGain blog, I'm discussing an emerging trend of Real Estate 2.0 companies that are developing one-stop shop services for their real estate clientele's new Web 2.0 needs. The tipping point is reached when:

1) real estate professionals finally realize how critical it is to establish an online marketing presence (frankly, everybody knows this, they just don't act...)
2) real estate professionals decide it's safe to go with one vendor for their online presence, instead of cobbling together their own marketing solution consisting of blog, site SEO, CRM, social media applications, etc.
3) Real Estate 2.0 companies offer an easy to use set of Web 2.0 and productivity applications, in a client friendly "cancel anytime" way.

No doubt...gotta make it easy..99% of agents are clueless. There is a nice niche to target to service these guys.

Still amazing how many agents don't even check their email. Forget having a website (not an online business card), then moving to blogging and other web 2.0 tools is just way over their heads.

This is good for those that are willing to adapt and let their business evolve with technology.

The trick is to make a 2.0 platform that really understands the needs of the real estate agent and understands real estate marketing. (Yes.. most of us are clueless when it comes to SEO but trust me, this includes the top real estate agents in Las Vegas that you can't even find on the web. In other words, having the best website does not make you the best real estate agent.)

We do primarily sell real estate and need to concentrate on our primary interest -- looking after the best interests of our clients.

I've been looking over various 2.0 platforms for myself, and came across the work by RSS Pieces and have to say, that seems to be a great package set up by Mary that has the blog and IDX property search. Looks easy and SEO friendly with the right lead generators in place right out of the box.

Perhaps you can suggest some other stand alone 2.0 providers that have the complete package so I can review.

And yes.. I'm one of those agents with seperate blogs, websites, etc.. it's too time consuming when I primarily sell real estate.

Paul I think that Mary has put together some nice packages for those that would rather pay someone then learn to do it themselves. If you are in the market she would be a good option for a blogsite IMO.
