How the Mass Media is Embracing Social Media

Mass media, by definition, once had a monopoly on content. The social media, based on user generated content, upended their control and their business models At first reactive, mainstream media finally realizes that social media is in fact just another form of media that they can leverage to recapture audience market share.

The convergence of the social media and mass media is a powerful trend. Social media is democratic and an opportunity for anyone to position themselves in the future of mass media. It's never been easier to become famous, in one way or another. For real estate, local fame and marketing go hand in hand.

If you every put on any presentation I would love to attend. For the last 4 years I have been outside the country and I am finally back in the Northern Bay Area for a few months.
