WSJ discovers Radical Transparency
The traditional media, in this case the Wall Street Journal, has finally picked up on radical transparency - the trend towards personal visibility on the internet. Yesterday's article discusses how people realize they need to be found by Google for career credibility... no Google citations now implies " nothing done". People with common names are manipulating their names in order to become visible by Google search engines... they are even picking their baby's name for uniqueness so they can have Google-izable identities in the future.
Wired kind of started the radical transparency ball rolling - it seems every issue since January 2007 has an article about it. Even our buddy, the See Though CEO Glenn Kelman was featured...
Yes, Transparent Real Estate is a fan of radical transparency, but it IS a subject that can come off as a little too... Wired California.
