Project Blogger Introduction
I'm pleased to be one of the coaches of Project Blogger with gratitude to Jon Washburn and Active Rain. I'll be working with London Whitted, a Commercial Real Estate Mortgage Broker with GEM Mortgage based in Emeryville, California. We'll be developing a blog focusing on Commercial Real Estate, a subject that hasn't been well covered in RE.net. London is well known in the Western States as a go-to source for sourcing and closing commercial real estate loans
London's been successful because he's a self starter - he learned the commercial business after building a residential practice and understands how to educate and coach real estate professionals on the arcane ins and outs of commercial real estate. It's our hope we can open up discussion and education for those Residential Realtors across America who want to know how to enter commercial, or how to develop a commercial transaction when one happens to fall into their laps.
Like Greg says at Bloodhound, we'll make the process of building the blog transparent and we'll follow some of Greg's sagely advice. We'll start with commercial real estate education and report on hot commercial cities on the West Coast - San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Portland and Seattle. More locally, we're planning recruit guest commentary from the Bay Area - Contra Costa, Alameda, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties, and areas at the fringes of the Bay Area - Solano, San Joaquin, Sacramento and Stanislaus Counties where the demand for commercial loans is rising.
Stay tuned...

Pat, I like the idea of working on commercial properties. This should be very good to watch and learn from. Well done. And London, I wish you the greatest success. I know Pat will work hard to make sure you get it.
