REALonomics

REALonomics is a new blog, authored by industry veteran Donald Teel, that focuses on new business strategies for the real estate industry. Donald posits eight premises that will reshape the industry:
  1. The RE industry is evolving toward a new economic model;
  2. The consumer is manning the command and control center;
  3. The industry has new, non-traditional entities coming into play;
  4. The markets are a new form of asset management;
  5. The battle for consumer loyalty is shaping RE models;
  6. The broker-centric and agent-centric eras are in decline;
  7. The consumer-centric era orders the business model regime
  8. The RE industry is under threat from agencies that will reshape it
There are already some fine articles on the history of real estate business models. Future articles will address the above premises. I had the opportunity to write up an inaugural post for its Transparency category. Thank you Donald. Check it out!

    REALonomics.net would like to thank Pat and TransparentRE for, most importantly, the cerebral "linking" that will empower our communities to discuss, articulate and design more effective, highly profitable and consumer-friendly real estate models. Thanks Pat, for transparency! Donald Teel - Founder, REALonomics.net and e-Partner (ePartnerUSA.com).
