Carnivals, Blogger Buzz and Weenies

I'm talking with plenty of Realtors about new technology and blogging and the phrase everyone loves is "Blogosphere", chic upon first hearing, kitschy the next. The real estate blogosphere is buzzing with spring activity:
  • Jay put together a fine Poker Carnival - the posts were exceptional and a reminder that the best carnivals post only a short list.
  • Inman's Bloggers Connect poised to become the big blogosphere event this summer in San Francisco - July 31 - the day before Inman's Real Estate Connect. I was at RE Connect NYC and it's like a penpal party - and everyone is just as friendly as they are on paper. And everyone will be in SF, like the summer of love.
  • Project Blogger - Jon @ Active Rain's blogger mentoring contest is a first. (You'll have to register on Active Rain to see the posts about the contest). I'm pleased to participate as a coach, and have already received a few resumé emails from prospective apprentices.

I only had a few late night minutes to slap this post up... earlier in the day, I talked with Teresa at StPaul blog and she graciously offered to write a post for Transparent and cover for my busy day today. Thanks T, but I decided to publicize her new site Real Estate Weenie... potentially the F**ked Company of real estate blogs? If only anyone would dare post bad things.
