Where's Jim Kimmons?

One of my favorite prolific real estate tech guy authors Jim Kimmons has been leaving his mark all over the blogosphere. He's suddenly resurfaced again with his new Real Estate Business Success blog . The following chart shows where he's been and why he's one of the real estate blogging pioneers:
Jim's Blog |
Description |
Significance |
About.com's Real Estate Business guide | Won the honor to moderate consumer portal About.com's Real Estate Business section |
Personally, I think the About.com template is a bit stiff... Jim needs to experiment and add widgets and stuff |
Transforming Real Estate | Jim's most confrontational blog was retired when he took About.com's reins |
Presaged Greg Swann ! ![]() |
Technology for Real Estate | Primer of articles addressing blogging and technology. It's still active and Jim added a Meebo ! |
Comprehensive step-by-step lesson plans presage RSSPieces tutorial tech articles |
Taos Real Estate | All about Taos |
Presaged the current fascination with localized content as a consumer marketing vehicle |
Taos Talk | Blog about Taos |
Reminds me of Larry's Issaquah Undressed - microlocal blogs |
Real Estate Business Success blog | New blog reincarnated from Transforming Real Estate |
All the best Jim! Look forward to more candid articles from you... |
Pat:
As always, you've created a really interesting post. Not because it's about me, but because it will force me to learn how to place a neat little chart like that in a blog post.
That's actually a comment on my problem, too many blogs and only so much time to keep learning. This will end a trek, with a consolidation of effort into my real estate business at TaosTalk, Technology at REBSuccess and everything real estate at About.com.
As far as About's blog, I'm ending my probationary period next week. I'll look at how they'll let me jazz it up after job security sets in.
Thanks for the post.

His blogroll is extremely tasteful.
I wasn't aware he had all the otehr blogs apart from the About.com one though. Now I feel lazy for just having one of them.

Athol:
Yours is a classic example of Quality trumping Quantity though.

Frankly, getting one of Athol's one sentence comments makes my day... he does this so well... I see you're catching on to the Athol commenting spirit Jim...

Pat:
Those one-liners can be as difficult as several paragraphs. And thanks for this post, as Mary at RSS Pieces paid me a visit and left a kind comment.
