Another big reason to start Blogging - Microsoft Vista's RSS functionality

Saturday short -

Here's Mary's (REBlogGirl) polished thesis on why Blogging will be integral to the Internet User's experience with Microsoft's new Vista OS and its built-in RSS features (if you don't know what RSS is, read Mary's article). And here's an example of a critical difference as noted by Joel at FutureRealEstateMarketing between the two writers, the techie Mary and the journalistic Bernice Ross at Inman News, on how they report on RSS, a technology that I'm positive 99% of the general public cannot explain.

Thanks for the shout out! I find a lot of people can't really understand the utility of RSS. Once Vista comes out they will be amazed at what can be done with it and those not already exploring it now will be left in the dust. I run Vista on one of my test machines and love the desktop RSS reader- it can do things no other reader can. It will transform the use of RSS among the masses by 2009.
