Agents should check MyRealtyBlog as a Website option

"Welcome to my website" "Welcome to my blog"

Joel Burslem at FutureREMarketing alerts me to a new product MyRealtyBlog that combines the static, but essential informational content, including MLS listings, of a website with dynamic real time blogging tools and other Web 2.0 features like mapping and Zillow Zestimates.

Non-bloggers, and this includes most Realtors, just don't know that blogs generate far more leads than static websites. Blog content changes, usually on a daily basis, and attracts search engine traffic - Jim Cronin at RE Tomato has a perfect example of this. Search engines value linkage and blogs are far more easier to link because content changes all the time... website linkage is basically one static link between websites, blogs can link daily. I link articles to/from the prominent blogs listed above almost weekly and have them on my blogroll for my readership's referral.

I notice that all the prominent real estate bloggers have separate websites and blogs, so I see the utility of MyRealtyBlog from a business perspective. Joel alluded that the technology behind this product should be assessed by Real Estate 2.x who has made a name for critical website analysis and coined the LOL term "Redfulia".
